Our Creatives
Meet Claire Noland
In her first book with Gnome Road Publishing, Nancy Bess Had a Dress, Claire takes us back to a time when flour sacks had more than just one purpose.
Her story is perfect for crafty kids and anyone who loves reusing, repurposing, and making materials into beautiful new creations, with artwork by award-winning illustrator Angela C. Hawkins.
Claire's second book with Gnome Road, A Knot of Frogs, a Passel of Hogs: Recess With Collective Nouns is sure to delight energetic young readers. With bright, active artwork from illustrator Susie Oh, this lyrical story will have kids jumping, sliding, wiggling and giggling while learning what to call groups of fun and unusual animals.
