Shipping and Returns
Order Processing, Confirmation & Shipping Procedures
We are only accepting orders that may be shipped within the United States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) at this time. Shipping methods are chosen by our fulfillment center located in Ashland, Ohio, USA and costs are calculated at the time of order placement. Customers within the contiguous United States can expect to receive their order within 10 business days.
You will receive an email with confirmation and receipt for your order. A second notification will be emailed once the order has been processed and shipped from our warehouse.
Return Policies & Procedures
All returns must be received by our returns processing center within fifteen (15) calendar days after a return has been approved, and have been initiated within fifteen (15) calendar days of receipt of the order. All returns must be accompanied by an approved return shipping label and sent according to instructions on how and where to send the package as outlined below. To be eligible for return, the item must be in the same condition it was in when received, in its original package and without signs of damage or use (with the exception of items shown to have been damaged upon receipt). If an item in your shipment is defective, damaged or of the wrong type or quantity, please notify us immediately upon receipt and provide the order number and a picture of the problem item(s) in an email sent to info@gnomeroadpublishing.com so that we may promptly address the issue.
To initiate a return, please contact us at info@gnomeroadpublishing.com within fifteen (15) calendar days of receipt of your order. Once a return has been approved, we will provide you with instructions on how and where to send your packaged items, along with a return shipping label. We are unable to accept and process returns for items sent back to our fulfillment center without first approving the return through these procedures. Our fulfillment center is operated by Baker & Taylor Publisher Services in Ashland, Ohio, USA. Please plan accordingly for shipping charges.
We are unable to accept returns or exchanges on the following items:
- Custom or personalized items.
- Special sale items and gift cards, including customized and discounted book bundles.
Note that requests to exchange items may result in additional shipping charges, determined at the time of an exchange request.
Orders from the Gnome Shop!
Items in the Gnome Shop (for example: totes, magnets, stickers, mugs, tumblers) are not part of Gnome Road Publishing's warehoused products. These items are created and shipped through a third-party service called Printify. Gnome Road Publishing does not handle returns for these products. Issuance of Refunds
Once a return has been received and properly inspected and approved, we will notify you by email regarding the return status. Approved returns will be automatically processed for a refund using the original payment method. Note that we cannot control the number of days it takes for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refunded amount. However, if the return does not appear on your bank or credit card statement within fifteen (15) business days from receipt of our returns notification, please contact us at info@gnomeroadpublishing.com so that we may look into the issue.
